Educational Loan Fund
Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, an R.N., a member of AANA, have completed at least 12 months of an anesthesia program, show need, and submit a letter of recommendation. A loan is available to those students incurring sudden need while enrolled in a nurse anesthesia program.

Edwards Medical Supply Scholarship for Continuing Education
To provide financial assistance to occupational and environment health nurses who are interested in pursuing continuing education.

Eileen Marie Mahan Endowed Nursing Scholarship
Established in memory of Eileen Marie Mahan who died prematurely of an automobile accident. This memorial scholarship is to enable deserving graduate students in the School of Nursing. Criteria: admission to or current enrollment in a degree-seeking graduate program in the School of Nursing at UAB, a cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 and students who demonstrate financial need as determined by the UAB Office of Financial Aid. Established by family members as a memorial to Elizabeth Jane Harper, a University of Alabama School of Nursing, University of Alabama at Birmingham student. Criteria: must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in study leading to the BSN degree at the University of Alabama School of Nursing, University of Alabama at Birmingham, be in good standing, and show financial need as defined by the UAB Financial Aid Office. Elwynn "Chick" Hale Endowed Nursing Scholarship
The family and friends of the late Dr. Elwynn "Chick" Hale have contributed funds to establish a memorial scholarship in Dr. Hale's memory to assist deserving nursing students in the University of Alabama School of Nursing at UAB. Criteria: admission to or current enrollment in a degree-seeking program in the School of Nursing at UAB, a cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 and a preference given to students who are citizens of Alabama or who express a desire to work in Alabama following graduation. Erma B. Kraft Scholarship Fund
To qualify for an FNF scholarship, your must be admitted and enrolled in an accredited State of Florida nursing program. Eligible students include those in associate, baccalaureate, and or Master's programs. You must also be a resident of Florida at least on year.

Estelle Massey Osborne Scholarship
To provide financial assistance to Black Americans interested in earning a master's degree in nursing.

Ethel M. and Jesse D. Smith Nursing and Allied Health Scholarship
Established by Betty Jane Smith as a memorial to her parents, Ethel McCarty Smith and Jesse Doswell Smith. Criteria: must show financial need as defined by the UAB Financial Aid Office, be a resident of the State of Alabama, have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above, and be admitted to or enrolled in study leading to the BSN degree at the University of Alabama School of Nursing, University of Alabama at Birmingham. Ethnic/Racial Minority Fellowships
Eligibility: Applicant Must Be: an American Citizen or have Permanent Visa Status; a Registered Nurse; a member of a state nurses association; a member of an ethnic/racial minority group, including but not limited to, African American, American Indian, Hispanic/Latino, Asian American, Pacific Islander; an individual with a Master's in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing or closely related field and Pursuing a Doctoral degree in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing or closely related field; and able to demonstrate a commitment to a research career related to ethnic/racial, underserved, and underrepresented minority populations.

Etta Mae Scholarship (District 3)
Applicant must be enrolled/admitted to this institution. Applicant must be a member of District 3; currently enrolled in classes leading toward a baccalaureate or graduate degree in nursing. Application will be considered complete when accompanied by a transcript reflecting that the applicant has completed 12 credit hours in a BSN program or 9 credits in a graduate (masters, Doctorate) nursing program and a letter from the registrar confirming current enrollment.
