Job Description:
Full or Part Time Flexible Basic Function: Nurse Intern positions are currently available for the summer of 2010. Clinical sites are negotiated at the time of hire. Opportunities include: Adult Medical/Surgical, Perioperative Services, Intensive Care, Emergency Services, Psychiatry, and Burn Center. Nurse Interns will work under the direct supervision of an RN and provide age-appropriate care for a designated group of patients through the appropriate utilization of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. You will work closely with the RN to assimilate the act upon data reflective of the patient's status and to develop organizational and critical thinking skills.
Requirements for this position include: completion in good standing of two semesters of an ADN program, or be qualified for senior status in a BSN program by June 2010; G.P.A. of 2.5 or greater is required; current CPR certification.
