Job Description:
The Patient Care Tech works under the direction of the Registered Professional Nurse. In this capacity, you will be responsible for the delivery of skilled, technical care as appropriate to the clinical area and according to established policies and procedures. With care and compassion, you will provide assistance to patients with grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting. You will monitor your patients' vital signs and document them. Your outstanding customer service will shine as you respond to call lights and work to ensure the safety and comfort of your patients. Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree GED is required Certified Nursing Assistant CNA or 1 year patient care technician experience in a healthcare setting required or we will consider students currently enrolled in an approved nursing school program. CNA certification preferred. Bilingual skills are highly desirable. Must be able to work in fast paced environment and possess excellent customer service skills.
